Aspen Lake Cattails, 12x16 Thin Wrap
Aspen Lake in Twisp is a favored hike among many. It's not very far or hard of a jaunt, and the water always provides something interesting, often birds and ducks. After the Twisp Fire, the hike now showcases swaths of bright pink fireweed mingled with blackened trees. This is a digitally modified photograph so that the image looks like a painting. I often work in this medium, which takes a lot of time and experimentation, and I love it for certain images. It creates an artsy and unique look. This is a ready-to-hang, frameless "Thin Wrap," which is touchable photo paper that is wrapped around a 1/4 inch firm "gator board." A slim block is attached to the back so that the print can be hung directly on a wall and it appears slightly as if it's floating on the wall. The whole thing is very light weight and does not need a wall stud to be hung. Shipping included in the price.
