Wooden Silo and Cabin, 16x20 on Maple Wood
Drive up and down the Methow Valley long enough and you'll notice several red octagonal stacked-wood silos. Some have burned in recent years in the Valley wildfires, but many remain including this one of the "East County Road." They were made from discarded mill ends (end-cuts from lumber mills). Apparently, the silos were all constructed by the same man. If anyone knows more about these silos and how they came to be, I'd love to learn more! They are a unique and lovely part of the history of the Methow Valley. This print pairs nicely with "Weathering Change," which is a close-up of the silo wood and lichen. This is printed on maple wood, making the print even more artistic with striations of the wood grain showing through the image. Ready to hang and shipping included in price.
